Shipping, Returns & Warranty Policy – Aqua-Tech Industries NZ

Effective Date: 30 October 2025

This policy outlines the standard terms for shipping, returns, and warranty in accordance with New Zealand Consumer Law and Aqua-Tech Industries Ltd’s current practices. By purchasing through our online store, you agree to the following conditions.

Shipping

Processing & Dispatch

  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

  • Dispatch times may vary during peak periods, for large freight consignments, or for Dangerous Goods requiring special handling.

  • Orders are shipped Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

 

Delivery Services (Aramex New Zealand)

All New Zealand orders are shipped via Aramex New Zealand (Platinum Tier).
The courier network covers up to 25 kg or 0.125 m³ per parcel, following the official Aramex Zone 1–5 structure.

 

Delivery timeframes

  • Zones 1–4 (North Island): Next working day target

  • Zone 5 (South Island): 2–3 working days target

  • Rural Delivery (RD): Add 1–3 days

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the selected Aramex Zone (Z1–Z5).
Customers must select the correct zone to ensure accurate pricing and timely delivery.

Rural Delivery (RD)

  • Rural addresses incur a $7.35 + GST surcharge, passed directly from Aramex NZ.

  • Customers must select the Rural Delivery (RD) option at checkout if their address includes “RD” or is outside standard metro service areas.

  • Deliveries to rural areas may take an additional 1–3 working days.

Dangerous Goods (DG)

Certain items (e.g. pool chemicals, acids, oxidisers, flammable products) are classified as Dangerous Goods and incur a $5.00 + GST handling surcharge per parcel.
This surcharge is automatically applied at checkout to all DG-tagged products.
DG items may require additional processing time or limited delivery areas in accordance with Aramex NZ policy.

Heavy or Oversize Items (Freight Quote)

Products exceeding 25 kg or 1.2 m in length (e.g. tanks, pool covers, large equipment) are shipped by freight.
Please select “Freight – Quote Required” at checkout.
Our logistics team will confirm the final freight cost and delivery schedule within 1 business day before dispatch.

These documents form the basis for all shipping rates, surcharges, and delivery timeframes applied on this website.

Tracking & Coverage

  • Tracking details are issued once your order is dispatched.

  • All courier shipments include limited liability cover under Aramex NZ terms.

  • Aqua-Tech Industries Ltd is not liable for delays caused by the carrier or incorrect zone selection.

Returns

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, the following return policy applies:

  • Returns must be requested within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.

  • Proof of purchase is required for all returns.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method once the item is received and inspected.

  • Custom-made or specially ordered products are non-returnable unless faulty.

Warranty

All products are covered under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ). In addition:

  • Standard warranty periods vary by product (details provided with each product).

  • Warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or improper installation.

  • For warranty claims, proof of purchase is required.

  • Where a product is deemed faulty, we will repair, replace, or refund in line with NZ consumer law.

  • Please contact us before returning any items for warranty assessment.
